This test was developed by Dr. Mihai Niculescu (MD, Ph.D.), as a result of his expertise in nutrigenetics in 2014.
Dr. Niculescu is widely considered one of the leading experts in nutrigenetics, nutritional epigenetics, genomics, epigenomics, obesity, and metabolic diseases in the world. His research and teaching activities are centered around exploring how genes and nutrients can be linked in order to provide an individual with optimal nutrition recommendations.

Your nutritional DNA test results will come via:
Nutritional DNA testing analyzes your unique genetic makeup to determine your optimal daily nutritional needs. We then provide you with your specific daily recommended allowances, all personalized to you.
Once you receive your test kit, you will follow a simple step by step process to collect your DNA sample using the enclosed cotton swab. You will then reseal the swab kit in the enclosed self-addressed envelope and drop it at a FEDex shipping location. Once we receive your test kit back at our Mako Labs we will notify you that it has been received and start the testing and analysis process. You will receive your results back via email and our app within 4-6 weeks after it is received by us at our Labs.
We will upload your test results directly into your account via our online platform. From there you will be able to access your unique individual results, utilize our comprehensive meal planning application, and share your results to collaborate with your physician, nutritionist, and physical trainer to get your personal lifestyle planned dialed in to optimize your health.
The first 12 months of access to our Nutritional Meal Planning Program is included as an added bonus with the purchase of your Nutritional DNA test kit. After the initial 12 months there will be a fee of $5 per month if you wish to continue to utilize this meal planning tool.
